The Deluxe Studio — low in points and just the right size for a family of four or less. But what if you have a family of five and don’t want to use more points to upgrade to a larger room size? Say hello to the five-person Studio unit!
These rooms are furnished with 1 queen-size bed, 1 double-size sleeper sofa (or murphy bed) + 1 single pull-down bed making it perfect for five travelers to stay comfortably in one room. The only downside is this set-up is not offered at every Disney Vacation Club resort.

Disney’s Riviera Studio trundle bed
As of 2026, there are currently six Disney Vacation Club resorts that sleep up to five people in a Deluxe Studio. If you’re looking to rent points for a stay or purchase a DVC Membership at a resort that has Studios that accommodate up to 5 people, here are your options.
DVC Studios that sleep 5 Guests:
- Beach Club Villas — starts at 14 points per night
- Boardwalk Villas — starts at 10 points per night
- Boulder Ridge Villas — starts at 13 points per night
- Grand Floridian Villas — starts at 16 points per night
- Polynesian Villas (Longhouses) — starts at 14 points per night
- Riviera — starts at 14 points per night
Which DVC Studios Don’t Sleep 5?
Not every DVC Studio accommodates five guests. Several resorts and specific room types are limited to four guests + an infant under 3, so it’s important to check the occupancy of the exact room category you’re booking.
One important example is Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows: the original Longhouse Deluxe Studios accommodate up to five guests, while the newer Island Tower Duo Studios and Deluxe Studios have different occupancy limits.
If sleeping five in a Studio is important to your family, choosing the right Home Resort can give you an important advantage. Owners can book their Home Resort beginning at the 11-month window, before availability opens to other DVC Members at 7 months.
