Disney Lakeshore Lodge Room Types: Studios, Villas & Lake Houses

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will offer one of the widest varieties of accommodations in the Disney Vacation Club lineup when it opens July 1, 2027.

The new resort will feature 967 rooms, ranging from hotel-style Resort Studios and two-person Duo Studios to traditional DVC Villas, three-bedroom Grand Villas and entirely new waterfront Lake Houses. Disney has also revealed a two-bedroom Presidential Suite with views of Bay Lake and Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Each room category will also feature its own Disney-inspired design, with themes drawn from Pocahontas, Encanto, Bambi, Fantasia and Brother Bear.

Here’s a closer look at every room type announced for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.

Resort Studios

Lakeshore Lodge’s Resort Studios will offer a more traditional hotel-style accommodation and will be themed around the landscapes and artwork of Pocahontas.

Guests can choose between a Resort King Room, sleeping up to two adults with one king bed, or a Resort Queen Room, sleeping up to four adults with two queen beds.

Both include a mini refrigerator and microwave, while select rooms will also offer balconies.

Disney has also confirmed that select Resort Studios will include access to The Artist’s Nest, the resort’s Club Level lounge. Located above the treetops, the lounge will offer refreshments along with views toward Cinderella Castle.

These rooms may appeal to guests who want the Lakeshore Lodge experience without needing the additional space or amenities of a traditional DVC villa.

Duo Studios

The Duo Studios at Lakeshore Lodge will sleep up to two adults and feature a colorful design inspired by Encanto.

Like Duo Studios found at some other DVC resorts, the room will maximize a smaller footprint with a queen-size pull-down bed that can be stored when not in use.

Each Duo Studio will include a kitchenette, seating area, private balcony and spa-like bathroom with the vanity separated from the shower and water closet.

For couples or solo travelers who don’t need a larger villa, this could eventually become one of the resort’s more point-efficient options — although Disney has not yet released the DVC point chart.

Deluxe Studios

Lakeshore Lodge’s Deluxe Studios will sleep up to four adults and feature a more subtle Bambi-inspired woodland design.

The sleeping configuration includes one queen bed and one queen-size pull-down bed.

The room will also feature a kitchenette with wet bar, seating area with sofa, private balcony and a spacious bathroom with dual sinks, a walk-in shower and separately enclosed water closet.

One Important Difference for Families: Unlike several existing DVC resorts with Deluxe Studios that accommodate five guests, Lakeshore Lodge’s Deluxe Studios will sleep a maximum of four.

For families of five, that makes the next category particularly interesting: the 1-Bedroom Villa.

1-Bedroom Villas

The 1-Bedroom Villas will continue the Bambi theme while offering considerably more space and many of the amenities DVC Members expect from larger villas.

Each 1-Bedroom Villa will sleep up to five adults and include a separate bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, living room, washer and dryer, private patio or balcony and a split bathroom with two vanities, soaking tub and walk-in shower.

For a family of five hoping to stay at Lakeshore Lodge, this will be the smallest currently announced villa category capable of accommodating the entire group.

2-Bedroom Villas

For larger families and groups, Lakeshore Lodge’s 2-Bedroom Villas will sleep up to nine adults.

These Bambi-inspired villas will offer separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, washer and dryer, and a private patio or balcony.

In addition to the primary split bathroom, the 2-Bedroom Villas will include a second bathroom with dual sinks and a walk-in shower.

Disney has not yet announced the complete floor plans or all booking categories for the villas.

3-Bedroom Grand Villas

The largest traditional DVC accommodations at Lakeshore Lodge will be its three-bedroom Grand Villas, sleeping up to 12 guests.

Unlike the Bambi-inspired 1- and 2-Bedroom Villas, the Grand Villas will draw inspiration from Fantasia, combining Disney storytelling with the resort’s broader nature theme.

Each Grand Villa will include three separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, large living area, washer and dryer, private patio or balcony and multiple bathrooms. Disney has also highlighted Bay Lake views for these accommodations.

For multigenerational families or larger groups traveling together, these will offer some of the most spacious accommodations at the resort.

Lake Houses *NEW!*

Perhaps the most interesting addition at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is the new Lake House category.

These freestanding A-frame accommodations will sit along the edge of Bay Lake and feature floor-to-ceiling windows, private waterfront porches and artwork inspired by Brother Bear.

Disney will offer two sizes:

1-Bedroom Lake House

2-Bedroom Lake House

The primary bedrooms will even feature a Northern Lights-inspired lighting effect, continuing the Brother Bear connection.

Hidden Willow Presidential Suite

At the top end of the accommodation lineup is the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite.

The Pocahontas-themed suite will sleep up to six adults and feature two separate bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, and views over Bay Lake.

Its balcony will also offer views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Guests staying in the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite will receive access to The Artist’s Nest Club Level lounge.

Which Lakeshore Lodge Room Is Right for You?

With occupancy ranging from two to 12 guests, Lakeshore Lodge will offer options for couples, families and larger multigenerational groups.

For two guests, a Duo Studio may provide the most compact DVC-style accommodation. Families of four will have the option of a Deluxe Studio, while families of five will need to move up to a 1-Bedroom Villa or 1-Bedroom Lake House based on the occupancy limits Disney has announced.

Larger groups can choose among 2-Bedroom Villas, Lake Houses and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas depending on their party size and preferred amenities.

The biggest unanswered question for DVC Members is how many points each of these accommodations will require.

Disney has not yet released a Lakeshore Lodge DVC point chart, so we don’t yet know how the different room categories will compare in terms of nightly point requirements. Disney has, however, announced that cash reservations begin opening October 6, 2026 for DVC Members, followed by Annual Passholders on October 7 and all guests on October 8.
