What’s Changed?
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, the cost of Value and Club Level villas increased, while Savanna View rooms saw a modest decrease. A week in a Value Studio in the lowest season (September) will require 62 points in 2027, versus 55 points in 2026. A week in a Savanna View during the same period will decrease by 7 points and require only 90 Vacation Points in 2027. Similar adjustments can be seen for 1 and 2-bedroom villas.
At Polynesian, there are only point increases across the board for 2027, with no visible point decreases. DVC hasn’t provided an official explanation, but the shift likely stems from reclassifying certain Theme Park View rooms in the new Island Tower. Some Members have noted that lower-floor “Theme Park Views” have partially obstructed views, which could warrant a category adjustment. If those rooms are being reclassified, the total number of Theme Park View units wouldn’t change—but the number of rooms in the highest point category would drop. The increases in the first two travel periods may simply balance out those reductions to keep the overall Polynesian points total consistent.
