November & December 2016: DVC ROFR and Resales Data

As we closed out the 2016 year, Saratoga Springs and Animal Kingdom continued to be the most popular resorts to purchase on the resale market. Below you will find DVC resales and ROFR data from offers that were accepted and sent to ROFR during the months of November and December.

Disney has sped up their ROFR process tremendously the past few months and we are seeing approvals, on average, within 7-10 days of being submitted. With that said, the closing process is still taking about 8 weeks to complete with all the steps involved.

We also saw a handful of contracts exercised this month at Bay Lake Tower. Average sale price was $117 per point with Disney exercising their Right of First Refusal at $111 and $112 per point.

NOTE: Average sale price is based on total monthly sales for each resort, regardless of contract size. Typically, smaller point contracts sell for around $10-$15 per point higher than average due to high demand and low inventory. Sale prices below do not include closing costs or annual dues as those are separate features typically paid by the buyer.
