Top 5 Features on ResalesDVC’s New Website

By Kristen Tutas / February 12, 2016

Hello everyone and thank you all for being a part of our “family” for so many years!  We are constantly working to bring you the best resale experience and are very excited to announce a newly designed website. We hope you find the new site a bit more functional and helpful in your search for the perfect DVC.

So, what’s new? Lets take a look at the top five features on our new website…

1. Mobile-Friendly

While our old site could be viewed on your smartphone or tablet, we know the experience wasn’t as great as it could be. The new website is completely adjustable to your mobile device with all elements functioning just as if you were on your computer. This makes browsing for listings, reading FAQs and filling out the offer form much easier on the go or in line for a ride at Magic Kingdom. 🙂

2. Updated Resort Pages

We’ve added a bit more to our DVC resort pages so that all the information you’re looking for is right there at your fingertips. Each resort page features resale listings, DVC point charts, floor-plans of the units, transportation information and a resort map. You can also watch videos and take a look at the many dining options available at each resort.

3. Searchable Listings

You can now filter our DVC resale listings by using the search box in the upper right corner of the listings table. If you’re looking for a certain resort or Use Year, simply start typing in the search box and the listings are automatically updated as you type. Please note: Use Years are abbreviated by the first three letters so February is “FEB” and June is “JUN”, etc.

4. Sortable Listings

By default, listings are in order by Resort, Contract Size, then Use Year but any column can be sorted from high to low or low to high by clicking the column headers. For example: lets assume you are looking for a small point contract, regardless of resort or use year, and you want to quickly see whats available. To sort the listings, simply click the column header labeled “POINTS” and the listings will sort from smallest to largest contract size. This will be indicated by the upward triangle as pictured below. If you want to see the listings from largest to smallest, simply click the “POINTS” label a second time to display the downward triangle. Now the listings are sorted from largest to smallest contract size.

You can also use the up and down triangles to sort two columns at the same time by holding down your SHIFT key as you click the two columns you want to sort. If at any time you want to reset the listings to default view, simply refresh the web page through your browser. Note: Two- column sorting does not work on mobile.
